October is not just the month for costumes, candy, and goblins.
It is the month of breast cancer awareness.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month has now grown into an international campaign to raise funds and awareness to cure this baffling disease.
I am an advocate for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I strongly believe in educating the public about breast cancer in the areas of: early detection, the cause, diagnosis, treatment, and support for survivors.
This morning, I wanted to announce to the Woman in Leadership community about a new beta project that has been launched by the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The name of this beta project is known as Beyond the Shock. I have included a promotional video about the Beyond the Shock project from the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The mission of theNational Breast Cancer Foundation is to educate and to provide the best resources to answer our questions about breast cancer.
Do you think you will get more answers about breast cancer with the Beyond the Shock project?
Please leave your feedback in the comments section below. I would love to hear your voice about this valuable new resource.
