How to build confidence is pretty much the same as building self esteem.
It all starts with you. If you have big desires and big dreams but lack the confidence to reach them, then start small and build on your success.
Don’t let it stop you from living your life or accomplishing your goals.
If you think in terms of all the stuff that you’ll have to do to get there, you’ll be overwhelmed and unable to do anything.
This inability to move forward will have a big impact on your self confidence. You do need to see the end result that you want but in order to get there you need to start at the beginning.
So the easiest thing to do is to work backwards through the planning stage and work forward during the action stage.
That’s how to build confidence in yourself and make huge progress in your life.
Here’s the process laid out in easy to follow steps –
1. Visualize and get a clear picture of what you want to accomplish. A clear picture of the end result. What does it look like? Who’s there with you? How do you feel?
2. From that picture work your way backwards starting with 5 years goals, then 3 year goals, then 1 then year goals, then monthly goals, then weekly goals, and then daily goals.
3. Consistently take action on your daily task list. Complete at least one task a day that moves you forward towards your clear outcome.
This three step process with help you build confidence in yourself and your ability to get things done. You can take very small baby steps in the beginning to get moving.
This will help you build momentum. And it’s a lot easier to keep that momentum going then it is to start it. This means after you get started the hard part is over!
If you need more tips on how to build confidences then look around this site. I truly do believe that confidence is just another word for self esteem or self worth or self respect.
It all starts and ends with you knowing and loving yourself enough to keep learning and discovering who you are and what your capable of accomplishing.
If you want to achieve anything in your life then you must start with yourself first. You must believe that you can and will do what is necessary to be the person you want to become.
You know that saying, Nothing happens until something moves right?
Well that something has to be you. You can’t stay in the same state of mind or the same unhappy relationship or the same unhealthy lifestyle and wish things were better.
No, you must move, change, evolve. That’s how you build confidence by building on your personal successes one-by-one.
And remember things in motion tend to stay in motion.
